Nonprofit Executive Leader | Cross-Sector Coalition Builder | Strategic Philanthropy Advisor I help philanthropists, foundations, and mission-driven organizations translate intention into measurable impact. With 20+ years of leading high-stakes fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational change across education, health, workforce development, and social innovation, I bring the practitioner depth that complex philanthropic challenges demand. I co-led a $150M capital campaign at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon — the most ambitious fundraising effort in the hospital's history — grew annual philanthropic revenue from $1.3M to $8.1M at Fontbonne University, and brought more than 5,000 first-time donors to St. Vincent de Paul. What I bring is range — and the conviction behind it. My career across social service, healthcare, and education has been in deliberate service to the greater good, driven by a deep commitment to equity-centered change. A fluent Spanish speaker, returned Peace Corps volunteer, and group relations facilitator, I build trust across lines of difference in ways most professionals can't— and am equally comfortable in boardrooms and living rooms. I'm also a builder of people and a trusted partner to boards and fellow leaders. I've developed fundraising professionals who've gone on to lead — through direct coaching, mentorship, and the collaborative culture I create on my teams — and through my graduate classroom at UMSL, where I've taught philanthropy and nonprofit strategy for more than a decade. My best references are the people who have reported to me. I bring that same developmental orientation to board engagement: recruiting volunteer leaders, transforming board culture and raising giving expectations, and mobilizing trustees as active partners in ambitious goals. At Fontbonne, I increased trustee giving by more than 400% and established five new advisory boards — turning governance from obligation into ownership. I love what I do and consider it my calling. I hold a master's in Leadership & Organizational Development from Saint Louis University and a B.S. in Biology from Regis University. I live in St. Louis with my husband Brad, my sons Hank and Mac, and my dogs Freddy and Ginger — who can usually be found supervising my native garden.
